Juneteenth

    This weeks readings and videos were interesting to learn about. I liked reading the articles and watching the videos this week. It made me realize that we are in control. We are the ones that put ourselves out there. We are the ones that need to think big and make sure we are moving forward. Nothing won't be easy in this life, it will be a challenge. If there is something in your life that is easy, you should challenge it and make it more challenging, as you do that you will become stronger. 

    We can do great things, do not let anyone underestimate yourself or even yourself underestimate yourself. If you involve the Lord anything is possible. As you strive to accomplish something, keep working hard and keep believing in yourself. Do it with passion and be creative and have fun with it. You should like to become stronger and working to making yourself become better. That is the whole reason why we are on this Earth. We are all living here and we all need to become like Jesus Christ, to become better people and love one another. As we become united in one purpose we can have a more loving environment and more welcoming for others. 

    June 19th, 1865 is the day slavery ended. This is a great day when African Americans became free.  When we became equal. It is crazy to me that people were actually slaves, and how they were treated. It blows my mind that a person thinks they are better than a person. We are all God's children and we should love each other no matter what, not matter what our race is. Treating people kindly and not caring that we have different skin color is important. Being equal as a person goes a long way. But also, being equal in one purpose is important too.

Last Lecture

       I have enjoyed taking the Intro to Entrepreneurship class. I have come to enjoy thinking about ideas and seeing if I could make the idea happen, or not. Some ideas may seem impossible to do or just crazy, but if you are really devoted and build a team that can help you make your idea into an actual business or product then you got it. You can do anything you set your mind too, with help from the Lord. Remember Him in all that you do, He cares about your success and wants you to succeed.      There are things in this life we cannot control. When we focus on the things we can't do or control, we lose focus what was right in front of us, what we can do. Personal Transformation

       Setting and planning goals is super important to becoming a better version of yourself. We humans love to challenge ourselves and to set goals. But do we actually follow through?       For me, I have not been the best at setting goals or planning things out and following through with them. I usually start it them then I just stop when I'm mid-way through or when I just started. I realized for me that I need to be making SMART goals and realistic goals, and plan out it step-by-step. Also, I think having a purpose in mind of why you are doing it and being and staying motivated to accomplishing it is super important. So, this week I made a list of realistic things I want to do to make me a better person and that will help me in the future.
